Bridging Sensibilities: Flute, Guitar, and Piano

The Gemini Soundwave Trio emerges from the convergence of three distinct artistic sensibilities. Our mission is to explore a shared, profound passion for music—approaching it not merely as a performance, but as a vibrant, living entity that resonates with modern audiences.

The ensemble features Gianluca Nicolini, Professor of Flute at the Conservatory of Alessandria. An acclaimed flautist, he performs with various chamber ensembles and has earned numerous awards in prestigious national and international competitions. Joining him is guitarist Claudio Patanè, whose extensive musical background includes advanced training and Masterclasses with world-renowned masters. He maintains an active concert career both as a soloist and within diverse musical groups, alongside his dedication to instrumental pedagogy and music education. Completing the trio is Gianluca Barragato (Gibar Maj) on piano.

Our repertoire bridges classical foundations with contemporary innovation. By meticulously revisiting and rearranging traditional works, we often incorporate live electronics to create layered soundscapes. This fusion of acoustic purity and modern textures pushes the boundaries of traditional chamber music, offering a truly immersive sonic experience.
